This course will focus on the fundamentals and techniques for beginning guitar players. Students will learn simple chords and progressions, receive some instruction in reading music notation and tablature, and learn to play a few simple songs and accompaniments. No prior experience is anticipated.
Supplies: Students must bring their own acoustic guitar to class each day along with a portable music stand. This course is not suitable for electric guitars. Textbook information will be provided by email prior to the start date.
