Come learn about plants and the environments in which they grow! With the Cape Fear Botanical Garden as a backdrop for tours and projects, spend three days starting seeds, collecting samples for projects, inspecting insects and amphibians eye-to-eye, and seeing how diverse our environment truly is. Students will have projects to take home and enjoy growing with the skills they learn.
NOTE: Please wear appropriate clothing for outdoor activities each day. All gardens contain scratchy plants and hungry insects. Long pants and sturdy shoes will protect legs and feet. No sandals or flip-flops, please! Sunscreen, insect repellent, hats, and water are all highly recommended.
