In this class, you will be introduced to some of the greatest artists the world has known. Students will learn interesting facts and stories, presented at an age-appropriate level, about artists such as Van Gogh, Warhol, Pollock, and Picasso. Following each informative lesson, children will complete works of art that represent the style and techniques used by the famous artist. Each artist that will be studied in this curriculum was thoughtfully selected to allow students to experience different styles & time periods and be exposed to a variety of art mediums.

SUPPLIES: No later than 10 days prior to the start date, a supply list will be emailed to the parent/guardian email address provided during registration. Please anticipate spending approximately $5-$50 on supplies, depending on the subject matter.

REGISTRATION INFO:

-Your student’s FTCC ID number is required in order for your online registration to be processed. To obtain your student’s FTCC ID number, please email summerscapes@faytechcc.edu with your student’s legal first name, last name, and date of birth. 

-Online registration will close at 4:45 pm two business days prior to the start date OR when the class is full.

-Once a class is full, the dates for that class will be removed from this site.

-If you are interested in being added to the waiting list for a class, please call us at (910) 678-8309.

-Instructors and classroom locations are subject to change. A few days prior to the class start date, a reminder email will be sent to parents/guardians with final details.
