This course will pick up where Piano 101 leaves off so that students can continue to develop their musical skills at a mid-beginner level. There will be time for group instruction as well as individual practice with instructor feedback. Keyboards and x-stands will be provided in the classroom.
PREREQUISITE: Students should complete Piano 101 prior to this course. If you would like to be exempt from this prerequisite, please email instructor Sylvia Morris to communicate about your student’s piano background prior to registration: sylvia.c.morris@gmail.com.
Supplies: Students will need to bring a set of headphones to class each day along with the required textbook: Alfred’s Premier Piano Express, Book 1: All-in-One Accelerated Course.

-Your student’s FTCC ID number is required in order for your online registration to be processed. To obtain your student’s FTCC ID number, please email summerscapes@faytechcc.edu with your student’s legal first name, last name, and date of birth.
-Online registration will close at 4:45 pm two business days prior to the start date OR when the class is full.
-Once a class is full, the dates for that class will be removed from this site.
-If you are interested in being added to the waiting list for a class, please call us at (910) 678-8309.
-Instructors and classroom locations are subject to change. A few days prior to the class start date, a reminder email will be sent to parents/guardians with final details.
