This class will expose students to the art of carpentry and how to build a small project from the design stage to completion. Students will also learn how to use a tape measure, cut, and finish wood pieces using basic carpentry tools safely. Each student can choose a project to build and take home at the end of the class, students can chose form a birdhouse, a birdfeeder, or a squirrel table.

Please note that this 3-session class will meet for 4 hours at a time on Mon. 7/08, Tues. 7/09, & Wed. 7/10. Class will not meet on Thurs. 7/11.

REGISTRATION INFO:
-Your student’s FTCC ID number is required in order for your online registration to be processed. To obtain your student’s FTCC ID number, please email summerscapes@faytechcc.edu with your student’s legal first name, last name, and date of birth.
-Online registration will close at 4:45 pm two business days prior to the start date OR when the class is full.
-Once a class is full, the dates for that class will be removed from this site.
-If you are interested in being added to the waiting list for a class, please call us at (910) 678-8309.
-Instructors and classroom locations are subject to change. A few days prior to the class start date, a reminder email will be sent to parents/guardians with final details.
